Week of 12/11- 12/16

Announcements:

• There will be a Marlatt Music Machine Performance on Thursday 12/15 @ 9:15AM and @ 6:30 PM. Also, the Marlatt Music Machine Tour will be Friday 12/16 from 9:00- 2:00 PM

This week student are learning to divide fractions and discussing the meaning of dividing. 
M: Exercise questions 1- 8
T: Exercise Questions not finished in class
W: Set Problems not finished in class
Th: None
F: Write your own division problem

Language Arts:

Students are finishing up their Invention Research Reports and will be presenting them this week. The goal is to have all of the present by Friday, December 16. However, if the student is in the before school choir or History Day Field Trip, then they have until Monday, December 19, if they need it. Students can upload their Research Report to Canvas, so that you can see it from your home computer, if you want to read it.

 

Mrs. Galitzer emailed information about the Winter Book Review along with an attachment of the assignment, which is due January 23, 2017. Students should be reading their book over Winter Break and may turn in the review whenever they finish.

 

Vocabulary and Spelling for this week is Lesson 15 and it is the same list of 10 words – roots “ped” and “pod” meaning “foot.”
