Announcements and Reminders:
- This Thursday, December 1st, the 6th grade will be attending a special civil war exhibit at the Riley County Historical Society and the Marianna Kistler Beach Museum. We will leave school at 9:45am and will return by 2:15. That day students need to bring a sack lunch with a drink, or sign up to receive a sack lunch from the school cafeteria.

November 28. Here are some guidelines I will give to students today in class
and an outline of the plan for the next three weeks.

NO Root Word Vocabulary this or next week to FOCUS on
research. Vocabulary Lesson 15 week of December 12-16 is same as spelling list
and we will do it that week. We will have Spelling Lessons 13 and 14 this and
next week.

Math
This week students will begin a unit over fractions and decimal operations. We will spend the first week reviewing adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing fractions. They will have daily practice that they will be given classroom time to complete.
